INTRODUCES

PranaLumen Yoga is a profound fusion of Yin yoga, Pratyahara yoga, deep Meditation and vocal Light Language Activation.
It offers a primordial alchemy designed to enable you to find your own inner guiding spark to actively heal your body from the inside out. It is a floor-based practice for any age or ability and is best experienced using an eye mask and ear pods in a clear, peaceful and darkened environment.
The best of all - it can be experienced absolutely FREE
What to expect...
Each free online episode will focus on one overall concept and have four floor-based poses to compliment it. The duration will differ for each episode but will generally last around 30 minutes.
Initially, we will begin with an intention and then move through the sequence of poses best suited to the episode’s subject and objectives. You will be verbally guided through these time proven, effective, prop-supported postures where you will safely explore your ‘edge’ and breathe into the stillness we can create within the body and mind. Vocal Light language may be given at any point during the sessions and whenever deep integration in a pose is needed. You will finally emerge feeling profoundly grounded and rested.

Every episode has its own one-page guide. This will provide you with a simple, beautiful illustrationof each pose and some useful information to include:
Ready your eyepatches and charge your earpods
Wireless ear pods are best as they allow the smooth movement (without tangling) in between poses. Eye patches with built in earphones also work very well.
Set the scene
It is best to enjoy this practice in a clear and clutter free, quiet and dimly lit room. This allows you to move around easily without the fear of knocking into anything. Grab any props, bolsters, blocks and blankets you may need for each pose and place them within easy reach.

and remember...
This is your responsible, personal practice - be kind to yourself. Listen to the body and come out of any pose should you feel sharp pain or pins and needles and if at any point you feel overwhelmed or uncomfortable simply remove the eyepatches. There's no rules - just practice.

PranaLumen Yoga ensures that each session has an easy to follow formula but a unique focus and intention
To prepare the body for our practice, we will either begin seated comfortably on the bottom with the legs crossed or out in front of you, however you feel more comfortable or in Savasana, or corpse pose.
Savasana involves lying on the back with the arms approximately 45 degrees from the side of the body, with the palms face up and the legs comfortably resting just wider than hip distance apart. This is best done by lying flat on the floor. The use of blocks, bolsters or cushions can of course be used under the knees or behind the head, if needed.
Here we will begin our introduction and initial relaxation.
We will then continue with three other, typical or adapted, Yin yoga poses most suited to our episode. During the practice you will be encouraged to ‘marinate’ into each pose and find complete stillness. Here the body’s intelligence has a natural ability to feel deep internal signals and pause at ‘the edge’ of the posture. This is a space where you feel a clear sensation of resistance. Once finding this ‘edge,’ instead of pushing or forcing the body further we wait, we breath and we watch without reaction, how the body feels and behaves with the gravity of the pose.
As the web of connective tissue (fascia) slowly melts and hydrates it begins to move and we may gently fall a little further. Dull, soft pains often indicate subtle fear or anxiety blocks and we are encouraged to be curious of these but it is important to understand that if you feel sharp, burning or intense pain, you must move back out of the pose. You will be continually navigated throughout each pose but you are responsible for your own body and must learn to listen to its wisdom, be kind to yourself and be patient.
The key is to treat your practise as just that – a practice. No destination. No competition. Just practice.
We will finish in a version of savasana to allow deep and final integration. At the end, the music will fade out into silence to allow you to remain here and finish as and when you are ready to move.
As we learn to explore the limits of our mind and body

takes us to the edge and beyond!
